Question for the guys here, is he playing me or just not into me?

I have dated a guy a couple of times. After the first date he poked me a couple of times but never replied to my mail, after a couple of weeks I texed him and he asked me out again, we hit it off a lot, like kissing for hours and he called me hot and sexy and stuff. Anyway I text him with a question and he replies straight away, I then texed him saying I miss him a lot and he never replied back...after a bit I deleted him from my facebook contacts because he could have at least had the decency to reply as a friend seeing that we talked about personal things a lot when together...needless to say I found his behaviour cruel...do you think he is playing me to make me keener or he just doesn't like me enough? He never gave me the impression of being a bad boy....anyway what will he think when he sees that I unfriended him on facebook? I don't understand why an intelligent man would be so rude after having spent so long opening up to someone about deep and personal things...is he just a jerk?
