Is this a good idea or just stupid?

well if you're too shy of a person to ask him to his face (like i am) then yes i'd say that it would be a good idea. plus it would be coming from you and its better to be asked by your asker than to have someone else do it you know what mean? so just as long as you do it and dont have anyone else do it you should be okay.
